• Range-based location lookup using Zip Code as zone

• Planned:• Web service enhancements

Resulting Address Points

Address and Address Point Resources (cont.):

• SGID Addressing System Polygons– Grid polygons for

address systems in Utah

• QC Resource

Challenges• Local Government Participation

– ‘Selling’ importance– Different Starting Points

• State-level Utilization• Data Creation

– Standardizing Data– Balancing Automated Efficiency vs. Manual

Accuracy– Technical Assistance– Accommodating Different Needs

• Update Schedule?

Other Considerations:• Reverse 911 calls to VOIP and mobile customers;

AEDs locations, etc– Requires address registration with proper authority…one

statewide app would make process easier?• Collect Once address application

– New address point can be shared as soon as the plat is recorded

– Report a problem allows interactive re-placement of address point

– Crowd sourcing, allow anyone to use this app in background and retrieve their data via API

• Public domain dataset as result
