7 WAYS YOU CAN USE QWIZDOM TO:

ENGAGE STAFF TO ENGAGE STUDENTS & BOOST LEARNING OUTCOMES

READY TO GO?

A FEW WAYS YOU CAN USE AN AUDIENCE RESPONSE SYSTEM

SHOW US HOW WE CAN

USE THESE THINGS...

Which of these have influenced Globalisation:

# 1 MAINTAIN ATTENTION

Studies show that most people’s attention lapses after 10 to 18 minutes of PASSIVE listening. By inserting a few Qwizdom activities every so often during a lesson can help maintain STUDENTS attention. You may know this as the ‘Change Up’ effect.

# 2. PROMOTE ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT

Posing well chosen questions to students during the session and expecting answers from each students can cause them to reflect on and assimilate content during trainingI emphasise Well Chosen questions. This won’t work by asking endless multiple choice questions.

# 3 CHECK UNDERSTANDING DURING TRAINING...

Qwizdom allows me to determine whether you understand important points or distinctions used in lessons. You don’t have to wait to papers are returned or exams are completed. Instead I can give feedback on a lesson and IN that lesson.

# 4 INVOLVE EVERYONE IN THE ROOM

What usually happens when say ‘hands up who knows the answer to this one’? A show of blank faces, maybe one or two hands up. Posing Qwizdom questions gets everyone in the room involved.

# 5 PROMOTE COLLABORATION & DISCUSSION

With group exercises that require students to discuss and come to a consensus. I could ask a Yes/No question or a True/False question and ask my students to discuss their answers and opinions.

#5 MEASURE & TRACK PROGRESS

Qwizdom lets me measure and track progress of the entire class. Post-session all results are available to you in Excel, Flash and PDF. You can use Qwizdom to measure and track progress of each and every delegate over any time period.

# 7. CREATE SOME DRAMA

Last and certainly not least, you can use Qwizdom to create a little drama in training, as students wait to see the results and how their classmates responded.
