Good or bad?

Outside the class

Google Drive promotes interactivity outside of the class because teachers are able view and comment on students’ works in progress.

Before class, teachers can view what students were able to complete and tailor class accordingly.

Inside the Class

Google Drive allows the instructor to view small group works in progress.

The Pedagogical Limitations

The audience is small.

Their work becomes public, raising privacy issues.

The limitations: design issues

Plain interface

Google Drive does not retain copies of comments after they’ve been “resolved” or “deleted”.

You cannot copy and paste text without retaining the old comment bubbles that are attached to the text.
