I Peter 1:8
During the thirty-three years of His earthly life, only a relatively few people in one small country
ever saw Him in person, and even fewer saw Him after His
resurrection
John 20:24-31
We have a confident faith because of the eyewitness
testimonyAre the witnesses competent?
Are they in a position to know the facts?Are they trustworthy?
Is there agreement among the witnesses?
The spiritual circumstances and faith of Peter’s first readers was not different from our own. They had not seen Jesus in person,
yet they believed. Therefore, for us, He is unseen,
but He is not unknown!
