CURRICULUM

MISSION

The Bachelor of Arts Major in English of University of Caloocan City is a four-year course program designed to equip every students with remarkable knowledge of the course which is irrevocable that is not only country-accredited but also world class competitive.

VISION

The school visualizes every student in the College of Arts Major in English to become effective communicators of English Language as well as being productive and competitive in their field of specialization.

OBJECTIVES

To produce competent and effective teachers who are articulate speakers of English Language as well as in their field of specialization, which skill would make them globally competitive.

To determine the roles of every AB English graduates as a future broadcaster/journalist or English instructor.

To appreciate the value of English Course as an asset for the futures’ profession.

To enable graduates to demonstrate a high level of English proficiency both in oral and written forms.

GOALS

The Bachelor of Arts Major in English aims to produce well-molded individuals who are well equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill in the language and philosophy so that they will become better contributors in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

An education isn’t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don’t.

CAREER PATH

The study of English develops the skills required in the workplace – creative problem solving, accurate research, persuasive writing, and confident public speaking. It may lead to jobs in any of the following areas:
