Setting up a site• Setting up a site keeps all our files

together and makes uploading simpler when we come to it later• Watch the demo and set up your

own site

Creating a Template Page• A template page gives a structure

and layout for all other pages• When we make other pages they will

all draw on the template page to make them work correctly

Create all the pages• Index.htm• Unit-1.htm• Unit-2.htm• Unit-3.htm• Unit-4.htm• Unit-8.htm• Unit-28.htm

• Each page will need to be added to the menu

• Think about what the title of each should be!

Creating content• Start adding some information and

images to pages• As you are working, test in a browser

to check it’s all correct

Testing• Testing in one web browser is good,

but what about others?• It’s important to try out the site in

browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc. and also on mobile browsers• We may find this a challenge until we

have our server set up and can upload webpages
