Why Solar Powered Entrepreneurship?

1. Small business will help Uluthe Mungao community raise required 10% financial commitment for larger projects (i.e. grain silos, school fence, etc.)

2. 95% of rural households lack access to electricity

3. Enables community to do for themselves, strengthens capacity to address community’s own needs, and encourages “teach a man to fish” mentality

Trip Details

• 15 Day Trip Leaving Denver June/July• 8 – 10 Days Onsite at Uluthe Mungao Community• 2 - 4 Days Sightseeing in Kisumu & Lake Victoria• Great Experience, Resume Builder, Understand

the Current Issues Plaguing a Third World Country

Trip Cost– Will not exceed $3,500

• (Larger group = Less Cost)
