Actively Explore! Learn to study at the college level. Meet with us every quarter. Check their email every day. Be honest with us! Don’t let little problems become big

problems.

What do we ask of you?

Fully support your student’s exploration. Give them the freedom to explore new and

different pathways. Maintain healthy relationships and open

communication. Encourage their physical, mental, emotional

and spiritual health. Believe in them.

What can you expect from us?

Genuine, ongoing interest in your student’s development, academic health and success.

Help staying on track, academically. Guidance in developing both academic and

career goals. Explanations of complex academic policies,

procedures, or requirements. Academic advocacy.

What is a Credit?

The value assigned to a course based on the type and level of the subject material, as well as the

expected number of hours spent on class preparation.

One credit generally = three hours of work per week, in and out of class.

What is Baccalaureate Core?Skills Courses (15 credits): Writing (3 classes),
