PRINCIPLES REGULATING THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

The Turkish education system is organized on the basis of;

- Constitution of the Turkish Republic

- Laws Regulating Education and Instruction - Government Programs- Development Plans- National Education Councils

BASED ON THESE FACTORS, EDUCATİON PRİNCİPLES HAVE

BEEN DEFİNED AS FOLLOWS; - Education shall be national,

- Education shall be Republican,- Education shall be secular,- Education shall have a scientific foundation, - Education shall incorporate generality and equality,- Education shall be fuctional and modern

Ülke genelinde yaygınlaştırılan eğitim sistemi herkese eşit ve ücretsiz olarak devlet tarafından sağlanmaya çalışılmaktadır.

Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk bizzat eğitim işleriyle yakından meşgul olmuş ve bu nedenle başöğretmen unvanını almıştır.

Zamanla yapılan düzenlemeler sonucunda günümüzde zorunlu eğitim her türk vatandaşı için 8 yıldır.

Genç bir nufusa sahip olan ülkemizde yaklaşık 14.000.000 ilk ve orta öğretim öğrencisi ve 650.000 civarında öğretmen bulunmaktadır.

Our school Ergün Öner-Mehmet Öner Anatolian High School is a new school opened at the beginning of 2005-2006 Academic Year

We are in Merter, Güngören a district of İstanbul. Although it is a very new school it has always had very big goals from the very beginning. We believe that we will reach our goals with our directors, teachers and students.

Various activities are being carried out to meet the requirements of our students and teachers. As a result of these, our school has acquired a Physics Laboratory, a Chemistry Laboratory, a Biology Laboratory, a Library, a Conferance Hall, a Technology & İnformation Class, a Basketball Field ,five Ping-pong tables, a Counselor’s Room and an Arts Class.

In our classrooms we have plasma TVs and thus have the chance of having computer supported visual education. Moreover by means of tests prepared by our teachers, students both revise the subjects and get ready for the exams.

The long path we have left behind enables us to feel more confident regarding the coming future. We hope to do better and more beneficial work in cooperation with the Ministiry of National Education , The School – Parents Association, directors, teachers, parents and students.

In this respect, we are grateful to Mrs Ergün Öner and Mr. Mehmet Öner who undertook the construction of the building and donated it to the Ministry of National Education..

Our school, the first students of which graduated at the end of 2008-2009 Academic Year has been successful in many regional and national events and competitions..

OUR VISION IS TO TRAIN OUR STUDENTS SO AS TO:

Be open to scientific, and technological advancements.

Have contemporary , secular and democratic lifestyles,

Assume learning as a basic requirement,

Be successful at all fields.

OUR MISSION IS TO PREPARE OUR STUDENTS WHO: Are devoted to Atatürk’s

Principals and Revolutions, Assume contamporary and

scientific thought as the basis of their lives and who follow and use devoloping technology,

Sensitive to events and their surroundings,

Respectful to social rules and who attach importance to ethics,

Communicate well with others, Have the talent of being a leader

and at the same time who are in favor of cooperation and team work,

Have a high-level knowledge of at least one foreıgn language ,

Will have a word to say in the future of Türkiye
