The 5-ton tripod shown here was built as aninexpensive means of working over electric borehole pumps installed on 20-foot joints of risingmain in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Itwas fitted with a hand operated 2-speed winch of1000 Kg safe working load. The clear workingheight under the hook was 6 metres.

Other winch capacities are available, includingdiesel-hydraulic powered units giving controlledhoist and payout under power.

Packed for export by air freight. Legs aresplit to allow a pallet length of only 3.5 min this case.
