“Then He said tothem, “The harvesttruly is great, but
the laborers are few;therefore pray theLord of the harvestto send out laborersinto His harvest.”
Luke 10:2
in Matthew 9 that “the harvest isplentiful but the workers arefew,” but He also encouragesus to “ask the Lord of the harvestto send out more workers intoHis harvest field.”

In a 5-4 vote, the United StatesSupreme Court has ruled that menmay now marry men and women
may marry women. This ruling turnson its head the societal and legalnorms that stretch back several thou-sand years to Creation and the firstmarriage in the Garden of Eden.
Although this result had beenpredicted for months, the impact ofthe decision is difficult to completelyabsorb. The impact on our childrenand their children make the decisioneven more heartbreaking. But perhaps even more heartbreaking isthe realization that a nation that has,for centuries, been a moral beaconfor those under the knife of persecu-tion (in their respective countries)might now become a persecutor ofits own people for defending a rightbestowed by the Creator of the world Himself.
So where do we go from here?Do we as Christians merely surrenderand follow those who would walk uscollectively off a moral cliff? Or do wedo as Daniel did and declare that Godreigns above all human authority? Dowe adopt God’s ways above those ofany misguided court? Is it not ourobligation as Christians to lift up God and His proclamations aboutmarriage? Of course it is our obligation.
The Board and Staff at FaithRadio want you to know that we haveno intention to relinquish our biblicalhigh ground because five people onthe U.S. Supreme Court believe thelaw should now be different in the year2015. Marriage was defined by Godalone…and God has not yet chosen tochange this definition. It has alwaysbeen the same definition…one manand one woman for life.
For Christians and non-Christians alike, the days aheadthreaten to be days where the definitions of “right” and “wrong” arefluid and often changing with eachpassing day. Isn’t it logical that wewill now accept that three men orthree women can marry? Will theI.R.S. now target ministries and private Christian schools in an attemptto force them to hire homosexuals(or risk forfeiting their tax exempt status)? And we have yet to beassaulted with a wave of commercialsshowing two men (or maybe three)kissing over a bowl of Cheerios. These types of consequences arenot hard to imagine when we look athow fast our country has moved insuch a short time.
We may not win this fight andGod’s judgment could come in themeantime. But if we choose not to fight, we can join with those promoting same-sex marriage inbeing responsible for the results.
The prophet Ezekiel stated thatBelievers are called to act as watch-men for the people and that if we failto speak up and warn them ofimpending disaster, God will requireblood “from the watchman’s hand.”So we pledge to you that we will actas an honest watchman and will blow the horn and not relent on aninstitution as sacred as marriage.

While theculture is also trying to change thechurch and how it views the Wordof God, we know truth wins out.Jonathan Falwell shared on FaithRadio, “truth does not change! Iftruth changes, then it wasn’t rightto begin with!” Faith Radio is atrusted source for broadcastingtruth and growing the Christiancommunity. As Christians, wemust continue to assembletogether in our churches, atcommunity events and overthe airwaves. When we praiseGod together, study God'sWord together and praytogether, we will grow ourfaith and encourage the Bodyof Christ.
When we passionately lift up Jesus, our culture will find truth.
Our ministry requires $2,200 perday to stand strong. We are prayingfor additional ministry partners whowill stand with us in lifting high thename of Jesus. There are so many inour communities who are hungry tohear the hope of Jesus Christ. Theyare crying for help, and they areempty inside. Will you partner withus to take them the Good News?
We are praying for 300 new people to partner with us for $1 perday. You will see the adjacent letterthat has been sent out asking foryour help and consideration in making a special gift to this ministry. Will you join us today and be part ofwhat God is doing through the ministry of Faith Radio?

The story of the ministry and life ofNatasha Owens is one that might seemfamiliar to many of us. It’s a story ofgreat loss, but also one of God’s amazing grace - the kind of grace thatenables someone to move past tragiccircumstances while inspiring others.
Just four years ago, Natasha’s 58-year-old father was doing a simpletask he’d done hundreds of timesbefore. There was no drama. Therewas no build up. There was no warn-ing. While cleaning his guns one day,one misfired placing a bullet in hischest. He died soon thereafter.Natasha has shared about her loss andthe depression that followed.
She also said that she could notunderstand how she could be offeredthe position of minister of music by herpastor while dealing with such grief. The offer came during a time that in herwords, “I couldn’t even get out of bedevery day. How could I get up andmotivate anyone else?”
After a lot of prayer with her hus-band, Natasha accepted the position.Soon, the music, the mission and theministry captivated her heart. It tookaway the listlessness, confusion andhopelessness. Week after week shepoured herself into the music of thechurch and into the lives of all whocomprised that church body. That’swhen the Holy Spirit began to pour intoher a peace, reassurance and a drive totake this opportunity further than shecould have imagined.
Her work as a music minister hasevolved into her working an album withproducer Ed Cash featuring a songplayed on Faith Radio called “No OneBut You.” She said this song camefrom a revelation that the façade ofkeeping it all together in a season ofgrief or struggle is fragile and temporal.
Natasha’s latest album, No OneBut You, releases August 28th.
The Meeting House is devoted tokeeping our hearts focused onthe faithfulness of God and
reliability of the Scriptures. In difficulttimes, we can be mindful to be prayerfuland peaceful.
I had the opportunity to speak withStephen and Alex Kendrick, the film-makers of a new movie called, WarRoom, which will be in theaters onAugust 28th. The film deals with theimportance of having a prayer strategyand can remind us in these challengingtimes that prayer is an incredible toolGod has given to us.
Other guests on The Meeting House, who have addressed issues concerningprayer, include Linda Evans Shepherd(Called to Pray). She, like the Kendricks, joined me at the Faith Radio/MeetingHouse broadcast center at theInternational Christian Retail Show in Orlando.
It’s also important that we are convinced more than ever about thereliability of God’s Word. At ICRS, Iwas joined by Josh McDowell, author ofGod-Breathed. He has assembled a
collection of Biblical artifacts designedto provide evidence for the authenticityof Scripture. Steve Green of HobbyLobby, who is involved in the construc-tion of the Museum of the Bible inWashington, DC, also joined me to discuss the powerful collection that heand his colleagues have put together.
To help us be more grounded in ourfaith, other guests from ICRS included SanAntonio pastor Randy Frazee (Believe)and Ed Stetzer of LifeWay Research.
As our prayer and devotional livesare strengthened, we can find that wecan stand strong and send a message ofhope and love in Christ to the culture. The Meeting House is ready to provide youwith information on current events andinspiration on how we as believers canwalk in peace and perseverance.

Joe Williams believes that atone time or another everyoneneeds extra encouragement. That’s why he made the decisionto donate some of his land to beused for a Faith Radio billboard.“We all need strength,” he said.
“You never know what might begoing on in someone’s life and this billboard could have a big impact.”The double-sided
billboard is locateda few miles north-west of Andalusia onHighway 55 betweenRed Level and RiverFalls. It encouragesdrivers north and southto tune in to FaithRadio.“Because it’s a four
lane highway, there’s a lot of
traffic going back and forth tothe beach in Florida,” Williamssaid. “Thousands of folks see it every month.”That’s exactly what happened to
Carla Dockery of Decatur, Georgia, when she was traveling back from arelative’s wedding in Florida.“I saw the billboard and tuned
in,” she said. “There’s not muchon that stretch of highway so itreally got my attention.”Dockery said she’s a frequent
listener of Christian radio and feltchallenged and encouraged bywhat she specifically heard onFaith Radio.“I got some good time with God
and there’s no way I would haveknown about Faith Radio withoutseeing that billboard,” she added. That’s exactly what Williams
hoped the billboard would do whenit was placed on his property.“I felt like this was something I
could do for the Lord,” he said.“It’s a small thing really in my opin-ion but if it points them to Jesus, itcould have a big impact.”
