Area: New England, Central Tablelands, Hunter region, Central West and North West NSW Experience: Now based in Bathurst, Peter joins Tourism Brokers having gained extensive experience in being a recent hands-on owner operator of two motels located on the Mid North Coast and the New England region. Having lived and breathed the day to day operation of a motel, Peter has gained a thorough knowledge and respect for the resilience and values required to run a successful hospitality business. He can assist with advice on renovations and improvements designed to enhance occupancy and trading performance, thus adding value to a business. In order to operate a motel with a high level of repeat customer patronage, an operator must ensure they take notice of a guest’s individual requirements. Primarily, Listening and Learning, together with a focus on attention to detail. Peter brings these same attributes to Tourism Brokers, coupled with an enthusiasm and genuine interest in wishing to ensure that all clients achieve their desired goals. Prior to entering the hospitality industry, Peter has had experience, based in Sydney, leasing and securing sites for a large discount department store group, was responsible for the National Property Portfolio of a large services retail chain of 250 stores and prior to these roles managed the property portfolio of a State Government Statutory Authority prior to ultimately being floated on the stock market.
Peter is a Licenced Real Estate Agent and has completed the requirements of the Australian Institute of Valuers and Land Economists.
