Analysis of Joints!!

ASSIGNMENT

Your group will be making a video showing and explaining joint movements in

everyday activities. Your activity of focus will be DANCING! You can pick a

popular dance (the wobble, macarena, etc.) to break down or you can come up

with your own dance (must be school appropriate). In the video you will be

demonstrating dance and inform us on how the various joints that are being

used. The more creative & humorous, the better. This is going to be awesome!!

Analysis of Joints!!REQUIREMENTS

-Each group member must participate [be in video]

-Dance must be demonstrated by at least 2 people and accompanied by music (duh.)

-Group must point out 10 different joints used

-Must be various examples [all can’t be synovial]

-Name all bones involved with said joint

-NAME and DESCRIBE how the joint works

-Give the SPECIFIC name for the movement caused by the joint

EX: flexion, extension, etc.

-Each group needs to provide a handout for Mrs. Cohan that lists the joints discussed in

order of appearance. Please include:
