Cooking tools and equipment are essential for preparing extraordinary foods and
drinks--- the kinds of meals that keep people coming back for more. When used and
maintained properly, your cooking equipment will serve you well. This same
equipment improperly become very expensive, adding unnecessary costs of time and money for repair and use of electricity.
Palette knife- is a round tipped flexible tool used to spread glazes and fillings, also for turning pancakes or grilled food. It is also called a metal spatula
Offset spatula-has a wide chisel-
edged blade used to lift or turn foods on broilers, griddles and grills
Kitchen fork- is used to test doneness of braised meats and vegetables, steady item being carved, and to lift food for carving
Drumsieve- is a nylon, tinned or stainless steel screen strectchin a wood or aluminum frame used for sifting or pureeing
