WHERE DO THE LINKS AND ICONS TAKE YOU?

• Most of the links take you to his Instagram and other social media pages, however other links take you to the dates of his tour and to the list of his songs that are on spotify.

WHAT IMAGES AND WHAT SHOT TYPES ARE USED?

• The images used are pictures of him which are mid shots and these pictures are made up of both high key and low key lighting. There is also an image that shows him supporting gay pride, this shows he is proud of his sexuality.

FONTS: WHAT STYLES, COLOURS, AND SIZES ARE USED?

• The fonts are very simple and the background colours act in contrast to the images which makes the images stand out, this also gives the website a very simple and clean look.

HOW DOES THE WEBSITE SPEAK TO ITS AUDIENCE? WHAT IS THE TONE AND REGISTER OF ITS LANGUAGE – INFORMAL OR FORMAL? EXAMPLE?

• The website is showing the audience what the artist (Sam Smith) is really like and allows his audiences to get an insight into his life. This is done in an informal way with very little text.

HOW IS COSTUME AND OTHER ELEMENTS OF MISE-EN-SCENE PRESENTED?

• Most of the pictures are the artist wearing a suit, this shows his audience that he is professional and a smart individual.

HOW DOES THE OVERALL COLOUR RELATE TO THE GENRE?

• There are some bright colours which show the artist is out going and colourful. He also has colours of gay pride which show he is proud of his sexualility.
