Can you name Non-Economic Solutionsin a Bad Economic Situation?

The current recession in America has caused sweeping changes in the economy. Somepeople have suffered systematically more than others. This book was inspired viathought and discussion about people coping in challenging economic times. Hopefully, this book will inspire thought and discussion on behalf of the reader.

During a recession, money and opportunities may flow differently than in times of eco-nomic prosperity and expansion in the economy. Operating on the premise that Godloves us all, I gave thought to non-economic solutions in a bad economic situation. Ialso gave thought to economic tools that were perhaps undervalued.

Perspective is important as we address our individual and collective challenges in to-day's world.

Hopefully, Get Free for Free will be easy reading that will inspire thought and discus-sion to help us live with joy amidst challenges.

Welcome from the PresidentDr. C. Dexter Wise III

Praise the Lord! Has anyone ever asked you: “Where are you from?” You enter a room. You join a new group. You move into a new neighborhood. You sit next to someone on the plane. And you are asked the question: “Where are you from?” Maybe your accent, your appearance, your actions or even your attitude raised their sense of curiosity. They might not be exactly able to put their finger on it, but they can tell you are not from around here.

If you are a Christian, you really are not from around here! You may have been born here. You may have been raised here. You may have a driver’s license from here. You may have gone to college here. You may have gotten married here. You may have a passport from here. You may have a job here. You may know your way around here. You may have a house here. But, you really are not from here.

Apostle Paul had to remind us in Philippians 3: 20 that no matter where we may live or what our passports says, if we are children of God, we are also citizens of heaven.

This means that:

We are brothers and sisters without political borders. We are connected across cultures. We bow to the same heavenly flag. We are subject to the same King. We are residents of the same realm. We are heirs of the same inheritance. We are citizens of heaven.

But, what does it mean to be a citizen of heaven? What does that require? What does that entitle us to? What does that open us up to? These are some of the issues that we will address at the Ninth Annual IFFM Convocation. By the time you leave this convocation, you will know for sure where you are from, what your rights are, what your role is, what your responsibilities are and what are the many, many reasons you have to rejoice because you are a citizen of heaven.

Thank you and welcome to this one of a kind experiencewhere representatives of the whole world will meet together praising the Lord and organizing to teach, preach and heal all over the globe.

Dr. C. Dexter Wise IIIInternational President and Founder

A Letter of Welcome from Our Leader

July 19, 2016 Dear Friends:

I am delighted to offer my warmest greetings as you gather in Columbus with your International Fellowship of Faith Ministries community to mark this week of revival. Allow me to also take this opportunity to recognize your founder, Dr. C. Dexter Wise, III, whose leadership has brought together so many followers of Christ from around the world.

Since my earliest days learning and growing in Scripture, I have been so grateful for all that my church has given me: solace and comfort in times of need, a sense of community in times of loneliness, a place to express my faith and gratitude, and a resounding reminder of the power and grace of God. I am also deeply grateful to my church for instilling in me my passion for service and social justice. As a Methodist, I have always been inspired by the teaching of John Wesley to “do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.” Throughout my life, I have sought to answer that call—to serve the people of our country in all the ways I can—and I am inspired to see that same spirit of service in this community.

As followers of Christ, we can all agree on the simple message, as a reflection of the teachings of Apostle Paul, that we cannot simply celebrate our faith and our gifts. We must use them, especially in service of others and in service of a better, fairer, more peaceful world. That is why I am especially thankful for the work of IFFM to supports its congregants’ physical, economic, and social well-being. We can build a better world together—a world in which we look out for our neighbors and live our daily lives with more love and kindness.

Together, in our churches and in our communities, we can open doors that are still

closed and not be afraid to stand up for what is just and right. May this week be one of deep faith and renewal, and may God continue to bless you all. With warmest regards, I am Sincerely yours, Hillary Rodham Clinton

Terror Touches IFFM

The reports of terrorist attacks have come close to home as three of the most recent heinous attacks have occurred in cities abroad where we have chapters.

The attacks in Paris on the night of Friday, November 13, 2016 by gunmen and suicide bombers hit a concert hall, a major stadium, restaurants and bars, almost simultaneously - and left 130 people dead and hundreds wounded. Our IFFM Coordinator for France, Pastor Roberto Pabu Mpemyi and his congregation were in church just blocks away from the Bataclan Hall blast when it occurred.

On Easter Sunday 2016, a suicide blast, in the eastern Pakistan city of Lahore, killed at least 69 people with more than 341 others injured. This is the home of our Pakistan Coordinator, Pastor Dildar Pervez and the place where we had two hundred IFFM Stationary Missionary home groups last year.

On March 13, 2016, The Grand-Bassam beach resort of Ivory Coast became the site of an al-Qaeda attack which resulted in 22 dead including a little boy who was shot while begging for his life. This resort is just a little over twenty miles from our IFFM headquarters in Abidjan where Bishop Dadie Blaise is our national Coordinator.

Please continue to pray for our chapters all over the world including the US.
