Process for Determining AMAOs

Consortia Not Meeting AMAOs

Accountability MeasuresMeasures for not meeting AMAOsYear 1 (and every year thereafter) –Consortia
members must notify parents of participating children of the consortium’s failure to meet AMAOs. However, individual district status (met AMAOs) may also be included in the letter.
Two Consecutive Years- The state will provide technical assistance to the consortium district that failed to make AMAOs to develop a plan that specifically address the factors that prevented the district from achieving the objectives
Four Consecutive Years – the state will require the district to modify the curriculum, ESL program, and method of instruction, or will determine if funding should continue and require the district to replace educational personnel.
