CHALLENGE YOUR HEART

Aerobic training is key to maintaining a healthy heart and lungs.

TIP # 1: DON’T BE A COUCH POTATO

During commercial breaks, get off the couch and get moving! Walk around the house or do a

few exercises while you watch TV.

Why?

Because it’s better than watching the same commercials over and over

again!

TIP # 2: DO THE BUGGY BOY A FAVOUR

Return the shopping cart back to the front of the store instead of

leaving it in the parking lot.

Why?

Because it only takes an extra minute or two.

TIP # 3: DO GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Order your food inside the fast food restaurant instead of going

through the drive-through.

Why?

Because you get to skip the long line, especially on your morning coffee

run.

CHALLENGE YOUR MUSCLES

Resistance training is key to maintaining building strong and healthy muscles.

TIP # 4: SHAKE IT OFF

Shake off your wet clothes before putting them into the dryer.

Why?

It’s a great way to challenge your upper body muscles and it helps your

clothes dry faster.

TIP # 5: BRING CHIVALRY BACK

Push the door open with your hands. Yes your hands!

Use the automatic door opener when necessary and hold the

door open for someone to work your muscular endurance.

TIP # 6: LEAVE THE CART BEHIND

If you have a light shopping load, carry it to the car instead using

the cart.

Why?

Because it saves your some time.
