DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT

The tiny house is a new and improved way of living small and with less while still being practical. These houses create a more environmentally friendly and economical space. The client for this design is a college students that loves the outdoors. Her styles include urban and chic designs. I included natural features like wood and plants into the space to tie into her love for nature. By adding industrial style materials like concrete and subway tiles, this creates an urban style as well as a clean design. Adding design features like industrial style lighting and furniture tie the space all together creating a comforting area. Lastly, I kept the space open and easy to walk through so it invites people in and is easy to maneuver around.
