imothy is the co-head of Macro Research in Asia and is the chief Asia Pacific regionalequity strategist. He is responsible for viewson Asia Pacific Ex-Japan regional equitymarkets and communicating theseperspectives to the firm’s institutionalinvestor base. Timothy and his team havebeen consistently rated among the topregional equity strategy groups. He joinedGoldman Sachs in 2002 as a managingdirector in Global Investment Research inHong Kong and was named partner in 2006. Timothy began his career in Hong Kongwith Jardine Fleming, where he was head ofAsia Ex-Japan Regional Research andregional strategist from 1985 to 1993. Heheld the same role at Salomon Brothers inHong Kong from 1993 to 1996 beforemoving to New York, where he was a partnerat Omega Advisors, a global equity hedgefund. Timothy earned an MBA in Finance fromNew York University’s Stern School of

Business and is a member of the Board ofOverseers. He also received a BA in ArtHistory and Economics from New YorkUniversity and is a CFA charterholder.
