Dates to Remember

• Graduation Rehearsal– Monday June 8, 2015, 5:30 PM at Bojangle’s

Coliseum

• Graduation Day– Monday June 15, 2015, 12:00 PM at Bojangle’s

Coliseum– Arrive one hour ahead of time

Graduation Practice• Plan to arrive by 4:30 PM

– (consider drive time and rush hour traffic)– Transportation not provided

• No food or drinks• No parents or guardians• Maintain appropriate behavior

– Don’t risk missing your graduation

• Listen and pay attention• Dress appropriately• Name Cards

Rehearsal Dress Code• Shorts and skirts must be fingertip length. • Pants should be worn at the waist • Tank tops or jersey must be 2 fingers wide and fit

right below the armpit (not open to chest). • No

– crop tops– halter tops– spaghetti strap tops– sheer tops or – “wife-beater” undershirts – t-Shirts with profane, offensive or obscene messages

written on them

Graduation Ceremony

• Arrive by 11:00 AM, Monday, June 15th

• No food or drink

• Maintain appropriate behavior• Misbehave – Diploma will be given at Ms.

McInnis’s discretion (not the day of graduation)• Teachers, administrators, security,

police officers, district personnel

Graduation Attire

B

• Business Casual• No jeans• No sneakers• No flip flops• Be cautious w/ stilettos

(high heels)• Leave gown unzipped

NOT ALLOWED at the Graduation Ceremony

No Cell Phones

• Leave them with your family

• Leave purse with family or in car

• Teachers and staff are not going to hold these items for you.

Do not write on or decorate your hat, gown, etc.

Gowns are to remain open until inspected

No bags, purses, etc.

• No backpacks• No fanny packs• No clutch purses• No wristlets• No cross shoulder bags

No gifts, flowers, balloons

• For friends (each other)

• From family

• Parents can not bring them in the coliseum

No noise makers, toys, props

Grounds for removal

Not limited to…•Dropping pants •Streaking•Flips•Gang signs•Inappropriate dance and\motions•Making an action toward the microphone to speak

A graduate who is escorted from the site must go to the high school and meet the principal to receive their Diploma.

Financial Obligations

• Pay all financial obligations prior to Monday’s rehearsal
