Whether or not the universe is cooling down it turns out to be

smaller than was previously thought. The cosmic egg we came from

may be just one of many similar parallel universe eggs.

I am still very focused on my work and try to avoid distractions.

Some of my planned semi-retirement activities never materialized so I

figure I may as well continue working instead. As I get older there are

some memory problems so I have developed coping strategies, like leaving

notes to myself.

I try to keep up with the latest technology, both real and imagined.

And I try to keep an open mind and

welcome new experiences.

My goal is to avoid lens design mistakes and so far I have done very well

that way. Other areas of life have occasional slip-ups.
