Announcements
Offering for the Month of August:
The Gideons
The Gideons International, founded in 1899, serves as an extended missionary arm of the church and is the oldest association of Christian businessmen and professional men in the United States of America. It's been just over 100 years since The Gideons International placed the first Bible in a hotel room in Montana. Today, The Gideons are organized in more than 190 countries around the globe. Bibles and New Testaments are printed for distribution by The Gideons in more than 90 languages. Through God's grace and to His Glory, more than 1.6 billion Bibles and New Testaments have been placed by The Gideons.
About the Offering:
All loose cash, loose checks, or funds placed in an envelope marked for the monthly
ministry will be allocated towards the monthly ministry. All blank envelopes or
envelopes marked for the General Fund will be allocated to the General Fund. The
General Fund covers the operations of the church and supports the ministries of our
regional and national denomination. Some, but not all, of these ministries include
Back to God Ministries International; Calvin Dordt and Trinity Colleges; Christian
Reformed Home Missions; Christian Reformed World Missions; Church Support
Ministries, etc.
