IMPORTANT
DATES TO
REMEMBER!
Sunday School leaders...those who currently are and those who think they might want to be...please note that we will have three very important meetings on the first three Wednesday nights of June. We are planning a major outreach / Sunday School emphasis for this Fall and these three meetings are crucial to the success of this emphasis. We will meet at 6:30 pm at the South Campus gym. June 4 & 11 we will cover the logistics of our ReConnect emphasis and how your class can be involved. It is vital that everyone get behind this effort to reach our community. A half effort won’t get it done...we need every class involved.
June 18 we will have a dinner and final wrap up session FOR THE ENTIRE CHURCH with special guest speaker Hance Dilbeck, pastor of OKC Quail Springs, who is not only an inspirational speaker, but also a strong pastoral leader in the ReConnect movement.
LOCAL MISSION OPPORTUNITY SKIATOOK POOL MINISTRY: Many local children are dropped off at the city pool in the morning and stay there until their parents get home from work...many have nothing to eat all day. Area churches have joined together to provide sack lunches during the summer. FBC will be covering Tuesdays in June & July. We are looking for Sunday School classes to help us by providing the PB&J, bread & cookies needed for 50 lunches. The church will provide chips & water and our Kids’ Day Out ministry will deliver the meals. If your class can help, see Sheree Jordan for details.
Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it! JUNE 22-26!
So all of you VBS workers, plan to join us for a
VBS Workers’ Meeting SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 4:00-6:00 PM
South Campus Gym
Backyard Bible Club Leaders Meeting
Monday, June 9 / 10:00 am Sheree Jordan’s Office (SC)
THANK YOU
Thank you so much for replacing/repairing our wheelchair ramp. We are so relieved not to have to worry about whether David can go in and out and up and down the ramp. The men who came
were so kind. Again, we really appreciate all your help. DAVID & MARGIE PRESTRIDGE
