Sustainable Business Practices: Three Recent Innovations

• Towong Shire providing the rating function for Indigo Shire, delivering a 50% reduction in cost for notice production across the two small shires).

• Five Shires around Ballarat reducing Bituminous resealing costs by $3.15 m over the life of the contract period by negotiating a single harmonised contract

• Nine Metropolitan Councils in Melbourne's East developed a standard specification and contract for Line Marking delivering $800,000 in recurrent savings.
