Purpose of the Fund

“The purpose of the Third Sector Capacity Fund is to build capacity to enable third sector organisations1 to engage in sustainable economic regeneration and associated activities which support the aims of the North East’s Regional Economic Strategy”.

1. The third sector encompasses voluntary and community organisations, charities, social enterprises, cooperatives and mutuals.
