Two of the most popular and enduring figures of the 20th Cen-tury came alive again this summer when the Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corp. orchestrated commemorative issues for some of its client nations celebrating the life and times of John F. Kennedy and Princess Diana.
Both of these dynamic personalities suffered tragic deaths at a much too young age, which explains in part why they still have so many followers, and why we enjoy a steady stream of issues to keep their memories alive.
Pictured here are Diana issues from Gre-nada and JFK issues from Guyana and the little-known entity, the Young Islands of the Grenadines of St. Vincent.
