I. Introduction
As a woman who grew up in California, food like barbeque, burgers, non-traditional pizza (fresh produce with barbequed meat ingredients), and anything influenced from Latin cuisine (tacos, tortas, quesadillas), to Asian-inspired dishes that gave birth to the California roll, I was blessed to live in a state with a bounty of always appetizing food.
Among the many advantages whole foods have on your body, know that fiber, vitamins, minerals, beneficial fats, and the combined nutritional value in whole food plant protect us from disease. More so, they contain antioxidants that prevent cell damage. Fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, seeds, whole grains: oats, buckwheat, quinoa, etc; legumes like lentils or chick peas; seafood: shrimp, soft shell crabs, lobster, etc; and eggs, are the good food for you. You should be looking out on these, instead of French fries, chips or donuts.

II. Introducing Whole Foods
To give a brief definition, whole foods are those food that have not gone through any kind of alteration or processing. This means, they contain almost no additives (salt, sugar and other artificial ingredients) to make them taste extra sweet or appetizing. Whole foods are unrefined, and need not be modified, which then makes it naturally good for you. It provides you with close to 100% of the essential food nutrients based on its original nutritional value. They need not go through needless processes such as preserving, freezing, injecting, baking or roasting. Whole foods can never be canned, boxed nor jarred.
