The Water Cycle

Evaporation

• Evaporation can occur in; oceans , lakes and rivers

• Evaporation is a slow Vaporzation.• The water in oceans, rivers, lakes turns into

Vapor Steam.• The Vapor Rises into the air as it leaves the

ocean, lake or river

Transpiration

• Transpiration is the evaporation of water. The water will ether become soil water for animals to drink or go back to a; river, lake or ocean.

• The plants absorb the soil water.• Plants pump this soil water to their leaves to

deliver nutrients.

Condenastion

• Water vapor in the air gets cold and changes back into liquid.

• You can see this at home by pouring a glass of water on a hot day.

• The water outside the glass not water that leaked through the your glass it is from the air.

Precipitation

• Precipitation can occur when a lot of water has consented in the air and the air can’t hold it anymore.

• The clouds get heavy and the water falls back to Earth.

• The water can fall back to Earth in the form of;Rain, hail, sleet or snow.

Accumulation A.K.A. Collection

• Accumulation is when the water falls back to Earth as precipitation.

• In precipitation form it may fall back into a; ocean, river or lake, even on land!!!

• When on the land it will ether soak into the soil and become ground water for plants and animals to drink or it will run over soil into a ocean, river or lake where the water cycle will start again.
