The True Story of the Three Little Pigs Paper Bag Puppet Activities:
Cut out the heads to the pigs, and the wolf. Have the students color and decorate the heads and glue them on a brown or white paper bag. Have the students decorate the characters. If they want they can add the wolf’s hat.
For the razor, the cup of sugar, the sign and the miniature newspaper have the students decorate and write their own newspaper. Have them use popsicle sticks as a way to hold the props.
For the houses students can either color them, or color and add three dimensional things like miniature sticks to use as a back drop.
The puppets, props and backgrounds are a basic structure for students. Encourage your students to go beyond the structure and make it their own. Let them explore in their art work.
Encourage your students to retell the story in their own words to others and act it out.
