to the Winter SolsticeEdward Quinto
After all the hardships of moving out of my rented unit in the Tower 1 Sun
Residences Condo in May 2015, I was finally able to move into my very own
condo unit only in the month of July 2015. My purchased unit is located in the
higher floors of Tower 2 with two windows: one opens up to a vast and
breathtaking view of the East, facing the majestic sunrise extending all the way
to Quezon City and the bluish mountain ranges afar. The other window faces the
North showing a view of Manila Bay and the environs of Caloocan, Malabon andNavotas. These windows are directly opposite to what I had before in my rented
unit in the Tower 1 condo which face the South and the West.

20 AUG 2015: The Northwest Setting Sun of Manila Bay moving to the left (southwards) and
slowly approaching Tower 1 of the Sun Residences Condo

The setting sun over Northwestern Manila Bay moving to the south (my left). It will
disappear from my view as it hides behind Tower 1. The setting sun will move out of Tower 1
as it moves northwards (my right) in the months of June or July 2016 and reaches its most
northerly point of migration on 22 June known as the Summer Solstice.

25 OCT 2015: Sunrise over QC and the faraway mountain ranges. It has moved to the right
away from the groups of 4 and 2 buildings

My 24 Gal Infinity Aquarium facing the East, I call it Infinity because you can see very far
through it. The oblique rays of the rising sun at 150o
North or 50o
East hit the left edge of
my 24 Gal aquarium and generated a large spectrum/rainbow projected on my western wall
My 30” x 12” x 15” aquarium located almost along the east directly fronting my eastern
window at 30o
North inclination acted like a giant prism creating the rainbow on my
western wall.

Last November 10 or 11, my Infinity aquarium acted like a giant prism, broke the incoming
oblique light rays of sunrise from my East Window and broke it on my Western Wall into the
colors of the rainbow. It was a long and bright spectrum
The rainbow bigger than my throw pillow and at times shimmering due to the shadows of
my goldfishes swimming inside the triangular edge of my aquarium that acted as a prism

23 Nov 2015: Sunrise with the sun’s daily movement to the south. It will reach its most
southerly point on 22 Dec 2015 known as the Winter Solstice. After 22 Dec 2015, th3 sunrise
will reverse direction and start moving northwards (to my left) until 22 June 2016 known as
the Summer Solstice its most northerly point of migration.

The spectrum of brush, inverted photo of a long yellow band of sunlight on my western
wall is the part of the early morning sunlight that went through the partially open slit of my
window. One can even see the opening handle/knob of my East Window. The spectrum was
generated by the edge of my Infinity Aquarium .
