7 simple reasons why SEO isn’t working for you!
BY: @YADERL1
7. YOU MAY HAVE THE WRONG WEBSITE
IT HAPPENS MORE THAN YOU THINK!
Most businesses make the grave mistake of pouring their online marketing dollars into a website that just won’t deliver. Usually, when most people talk about a “bad website” they’re referring to an
“ugly” website.
Your website is bad if it isn’t designed to speak directly to your audience and most importantly
isn’t user friendly.
A bad website can be beautiful, send me an email, I’ll send you many examples !
Tip
!Heatmaps are your friend – you’d be surprised by what
attracts and confuses people.

6. POOR STRATEGY!
Getting to the “front page” isn’t
much of an online marketing
strategy at all!!
Identify the right opportunities, not just any keyword, but revenue driving
keywords that will bring a positive ROI.
5. LACK OF FLEXIBILITYThings change! One of the worst things that can happen to any campaign is a stubborn SEO or SEO company. Our job is to stay ahead of curve and in order to do that, we must pay attention to our metrics, and remain as fluid as possible because the data will ultimately tell us were we’re going to get the highest ROI possible.
CLIENT EXAMPLE:
A healthcare client in a competitive area wanted their website to rank nationally for all search terms related to their field. Four
months into the campaign, we noticed that while conversions were rapidly increasing, these conversions were driven by roughly 50%
of the terms we were targeting. Immediately, shifted our focus towards the revenue-driving terms. This resulted in an even
higher ROI for the client.
4. NO DIVERSITY!
All successful SEO strategies have one thing in common: diversity! We must have a diverse group of: Link types, link sources,
anchors, citations, content, etc.
3. FOLLOWING TACTICS
long as search engines rely on algorithms, there will always be people looking to “game”
the algorithms, that’s a given.
This approach leaves websites open to Google updates (which are designed to kill tactics), or even worse, penalties.
2.TOO MUCH TOO SOON
As long as search engines rely on algorithms, there will always be people looking to “game” the
algorithms, that’s a given.
Nothing can bring a penalty from Google quicker than a sudden surge of backlinks
pointed towards a new website. Unfortunately, this is one of the top reasons why many SEO campaigns fail before they
even start.
1. NO TESTING!
TESTING IS KEY!I can’t stress this enough.
Source: Company Name
Make sure YOU get the highest ROI for these campaigns, ask your SEO company
to TEST everything!
Colors, layouts, buttons, text, photos,
EVERYTHING!
Learned something? I sure hope so!
