The Performing Arts Society

PAS has always been at the helm of affairs be it whatever! Actually ! We can do anything

under the sun and we do. The year 2015 began with a bang with the with THE FRESHERS

PARTY was organised on 31st August at D’ Bell ! which was supposed to be an introductory

event for the 100 freshers. It turned out be a thunder bolt for entertainment hungry audiences.

The PAS was the Sydenham Contingent to Umang’15- an intercollegiate event of NM College,

Mumbai, where we won, prizes, vouchers and accolades.

On 14th Nov.’15 we visited the street children at Marine Lines Night shelter, where we spent

quality time by talking to kids, playing with them. We also gave them sweets and other snacks.

This year freshers’ had double dose of entertainment.

The jewel in the crown of PAS was ‘Crank Dat’ –the street dance competition of international

standards, which was held on 24th January 2016 at the Phoenix Mills compound. The vent

was presented in association with Indian B-Boying Federation. Eleven 11 teams from all over

the nation participated with full energy and enthusiasm. One team had an Italian dancer in

their team who enjoyed it immensely.

More than 10000 shoppers, visitors and the street dance enthusiasts from all over Mumbai and

participants supporters gathered to watch the event and were enthralled by the performing

teams. The crowed of shoppers was elated to see such electrifying performances. The

participating teams kept everyone entertained throughout, until 10:00 p.m.
