Only Membership). Credit Cards accepted
online. Payable day of event by cash or by
check to NESOWEA. No purchase orders
will be accepted. Cancellations must be
received 3 days prior to event to avoid
being charged.
This program has been submitted for 3.25
hours of continuing education credit for
certified operators in Ohio. To receive
credit, attendees must be present during
the entire session and complete a contact
hour form with Ohio EPA Core ID Number.

Facility tours will begin at the City of Kent’s Water Reclamation Facility. The WRF is an activated sludge plant with single stage
nitrification, biological denitrification and chemical phosphorous removal with the effluent being discharged into the Cuyahoga
River. Tours of the City of Kent’s Water Treatment Plant will also be provided. The groundwater treatment plant with lime-soda
softening will be included in event. The annual business meeting, lunch and technical sessions will be at the Kent State Hotel and
Conference Center following the facility tours. Registration and refreshments will occur at the Water Reclamation Facility only.
Parking at the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center is FREE for registered
attendees at the Kent Central Gateway Parking Deck. Upon entering the
garage, get a ticket and bring it with you to the registration desk to have it
validated. See attached parking map for details.

From WRF to WTP: Turn right out of WRF Drive onto Middlebury Rd and travel ~0.3mi to Haymaker Pkwy (SR 59). Turn right
onto Haymaker Pkwy and travel ~0.6mi to S Water St (SR 43). Turn right onto S Water St and travel ~400ft to E Summit St. Turn
left onto E Summit St and travel ~2.2mi to Hodgeman Ln. Turn left onto Hodgeman Ln and travel ~0.8mi to WTP. From WTP to
Conf Center: Exit WTP by traveling on Hodgeman Ln to Summit St. Turn right onto Summit St and travel 2.1mi to Depeyster St.
Turn right onto Depeyster St and travel ~0.2mi, look for entrance to Kent Central Gateway Parking Deck. Look for NESOWEA signs.
