Setting

In a post apocalyptic world (after a major disaster - a flood and conflagration/fire).

It is set in a Dystopia (meaning “bad place”) where we see corruption, oppression and despicable acts take place society.

Dystopia

The Environment● The genre of this story is science fiction.

● The world had suffered a massive fire known as the ‘conflagration’.

● The fire caused the ice caps to melt and therefore caused massive flooding in

certain parts of the earth, covering entire cities.

● There are no more trees or plants because the soil can’t germinate seeds

anymore.

Hierarchy

• The Elite - Rich people in power (government).• Live in Mangeria City

• Rich people/ Upper Class members if society• Live in Mangeria City

• Lower class people• Live in Slum City

kitchen hand, child minder; cleaner etcDrudge

• Sea-scavengers who search in the ocean for relics or treasure from the old world.

• An individual harnessed to another person or team to pull a vehicle filled with people; a taxi.

Pulak

• Individuals who entertain the Posh by dancing, singing and other talents.

Pleasure Worker

• A policeman; wears yellow and green and a helmet that resembles the insectLocust
