The LORD is my light and my salvation—

whom shall I fear? The LORD is the

stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present

help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted

among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalm 46:10

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Psalm 27:14

“A man had a dream one night. In his dream, he was walking along a beach with the Lord. As they walked, scenes from the man’s

life flashed across the sky.

When he looked down, he saw two sets of footprints etched in the sand; one belonged to him

and the other to the Lord. As they continue to walk, he noticed that at the saddest and most trying times of his life, there was only

one set of footprints in the sand.

He asked the Lord, “When I needed You the most,

why did You leave me?” “My son, My precious child,”

replied the Lord,“I would never leave you.

During these times of trial and suffering, when you saw one set

of footprints…That was when I carried you.”

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your

paths straight

Prov. 3:5-6

For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.

Praise the LORD.

Psalm 117:2

I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Joshua 1:5b

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek:

that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,

to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek

him in his temple.

Psalm 27:4.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him

shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and

reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. When they heard this, they raised their voices

together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the

heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

Acts 4:23-24

You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your

servant, our father David: “‘Why do the nations rage and the

peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the

Lord and against his Anointed One.

Acts 4:25-26

Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this

city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you

anointed. They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.

Acts 4:27-28

Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great

boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the

name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Acts 4:29-30

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was

shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke

the word of God boldly.

Acts 4:31
