Flip Human Water Care Works

During this period specific attention was given to certain aspects, which were considered as essential for the management and operation of the works.

Background

The eWISA Water Care Assistant was developed as a state-of art “TOOL” to contribute to the operation and management

of water and waste water works in South Africa.

The system was developed within a partnership agreement between WISA and WAMTechnology cc.

Special acknowledgement to Elize Marè and Johan Esterhuizen of Mogale City who provided the valuable ‘detailed requirements’ of a local authority.

The main sections of the Water Care Assistant are:

General: Contacts, staff, documention, photos, manufacturers and suppliers, classification of works, etc.

Water quality and plant performance: Monitoring points, water quality and flow data, graphical procedures and statistics to MANAGE the performance of the plant and the quality of water/effluent.

Asset management: Inventories, replacement costs, life span of equipment, maintenance schedules, reporting, etc..

Financial management: Budgeting and management
