Edgardo Gottfried is an Architect and City Planning at theUniversity of Mendoza, Argentina.

Founder and Director of the Architect Association of MendozaBulletin, featuring online at www.arqa.com under «gottfried» searchbox, which includes his research works, designs, and achievments.

As well, he has published books as: «Space and Things,Representation on Paintings and Reliefs», con with Abdulio Guidici.«Architect´s Association of Mendoza, Daily Activity», and personalinterviews with the top architects from Argentina. His books includeissues as history, relevant contests, professional practice, legislations,and facts of architecture and city planning in Argentina.

Head of project team in contests such as Monument of Atocha,sVictims, Madrid, Spain;The Great Egyptian Museum (Gizah , Egypt);Ground Zero Site Reconstruction (New York City , USA) broadcastedon CNN on September 11 – 2002; Coptic Church in New City (NewYork, USA); Tree Houses of Hawaii Vacation Resorts (Maui, Fidji,Vietnam, China) and the Cultural Park of the Caribbean (Barranquilla,Colombia).

Other of his achievments include the Commercial Offices –Residence Halls – Club House for Chevron, Texaco at the Trapial oilfield (Neuquén, Argentina); City Hall – Main Square – Civic Center forthe town of Dolavon (Chubut, Argentina); Courthouse and Public Park(Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina) and 5* Hotel in Nahuel HuapiNational Park (Villa La Angostura, Argentina).

Edgardo´s design projects also include the Government Houseand Headquarters (Córdoba, Argentina); Commercial Mall – TouristInfo Center – Republica Square Renovation (Obelisk, Buenos Aires,Argentina); Convention and Exhibition Center (San Rafael, Argentina);Additions and Renovation of the Mendoza General Hospital (Mendoza ,Argentina), as well as habitational, educational and industrial facilities.
