2013 - Industry Survey“The Future of CTMS”

Introduction

Triumph have been consulting in the life sciences industry for more than 10 years and have been involved in the implementation of more than 15 CTMS during that time. During the last few years, Triumph have witnessed dramatic changes in the attitudes, approach and needs for CTMS. In order to ensure we remain focused on what the industry needs, we decided to conduct an industry wide survey to look at the expected trends in CTMS development and usage over the next two years.

We had responses from more than 40 separate businesses, split between Pharma and CRO, mostly medium or large in size.What became apparent very quickly is that CTMS are here to stay, but will take a different form, and play a very different role in the future than they have been in the last 5-10 years.

This slide deck presents the results of the survey and some lessons for those companies looking to evolve their CTMS to become a more valued and integral part of their business.
