Main Tasks of the National Contact Point (NCP)

Support to applicants on technical and administrative issues for the preparation of proposals by: email, telephone calls, review of projects concepts, meetings and interviews, partners searching.

Dissemination of the Programme : website, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.

Coordination with EASME in the organization of annual Info Days.

Participation in LIFE Committee meetings. Negotiations of the Regulations.

Participation in the annual Training organized by CE/EASME for NCP.

Management of the Spanish LIFE projects Database.

Visits to projects accompanying the Commission, when possible.

Resources allocated to the NCP

Administration in charge of the NCP:

Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Human resources allocated:

A General Subdirector

2 Civil Servants

An external assistance: 4 technicians (part time). Specialized in different strands

Budgetary resources allocated:

Around 200.000 euros/year
