The cockroaches and flies are huge

The society is broken down into classes

Drainers – Rid the streets of dirt and rubble

Drudges – Do manual labour and work for others

Market nags – Sell food and different products in the market

The machine – Regulates the society and gives humans the numbers on their backs

Can track everyone - The rebels want to destroy its

Propaganda - Information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view

Illusion of democracy

Control when people come and go

The Mangerians ultimately decide who stays in power

People are only taught what is necessary for their trade – Most people cannot read

Wild and domesticated animals are extinct

Bug juice – What people use to get drunk

Insects – Flies, cockroaches and fleas are all that survive

People eat flies when food is scarce
