June 19, 2016 9:00 a.m.
It is our expressed hope that in this time we might offer worship which
celebrates Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in a format which is both
Biblically-based and contextually relevant. We invite you to join us in God-
directed, life-giving praise and worship of our God!
The Guide For Today: Five minutes before worship is when we start to center
ourselves for worship. Consider reading the meditative reflection passage
on the next panel. We encourage all those attending to gather for worship
as we set the frame of our vision and welcome all in song.
The words to the songs are on the screens.

Most highest, most good, most potent, most omnipotent; most merciful, yet most just; most hidden, yet most present; most beautiful, yet most strong; stable, yet incomprehensible; unchangeable, yet all-changing; never new, never old; all-renewing, and bringing age upon the proud, and they know it not; ever working, ever at rest; still gathering, yet nothing lacking; supporting, filling, and overspreading; creating, nourishing, and maturing; seeking, yet having all things.

CALL TO WORSHIP Leader: Thank the Lord for saving us and for calling us in ministry.

still alive in Him.
Leader: Thank the Lord for bestowing upon us the spiritual blessings for
each given moment .
People: Thank the Lord for bestowing upon us hope and trust in
him.
Leader: Thank the Lord for bestowing upon us comfort and joy.
People: Thank the Lord for bestowing upon us the strength to
endure hardship.
Leader: Thank the Lord for his promise of a kingdom that can never be
shaken, and is incomparable unto everlasting glory.
All: How can we not sing of God's faithfulness?
*GATHERING HYMN (No. 345) “Crown Him with Many Crowns” Verses 1, 2, 3
CALL TO CONFESSION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (Unison) Eternal God, you have revealed your love by the light of your Christ and taught your faithful people by the light of your Spirit. Enlighten our hearts and minds that we may give up our attachment to the darkness of sin and evil. Outside these walls, we are constantly tempted to choose darkness rather than light: to use people, to love things, to gamble, to do whatever it takes to get whatever we want. We confess we have not put up much of a fight against temptation, nor sought your ever-present support to defeat those particular demons which appeal to us. Shine in the dark caverns of our hearts, where we hide our secret thoughts and desires. Make us radiant with your love, that others may see our good works and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. (We now pause to offer our silent confessions.)
**Hymns taken from Glory to God Hymnal Feel free to sign the fellowship pad and pass to another as a way to communicate with those nearby.
