+Stage 1: The Egg

A butterfly starts life as a very small, round or oval egg.

+Stage 2: The Caterpillar

When the butterfly egg hatches, out comes a caterpillar.

+Stage 3: The Chrysalis

When the caterpillar is all finished growing it will form itself into a chrysalis.

When the caterpillar is all done forming and changing inside the chrysalis, out comes a beautiful butterfly.
