It's that time of year again! Time to start planning your fall wardrobe.

Whether you are planning to completely revamp of your wardrobe or just want to add in a few new items, you’ll want to use MSP's "The Big Fall Preview 2012" all season long! This seasonal guide can help plan your wardrobe as well as help you edit your current wardrobe. I have selected 12 top trends you can easily add into your wardrobe this fall. This week, I highlight the first six and how to wear them!

1. Color Crazed! This fall when it comes to color, this season can be summed up by saying, “It’s ALL good”!

This is best fall season for wearing lots of color and it’s about time! Usually every fall the racks are once again restocked with lots of black and a couple of stand-out colors for the season. This year however, you can choose from anything on the color wheel and look fabulous...from pastels and mid tones, to spicy earth tones, jewel tones, and brights. ALL colors are “on-trend” plus a wide variety of neutrals. What more could a gal ask for?

Wear lots of color this season!

No black being worn in these pretty fall outfits!

Soft pastels and neutrals are grounded with the addition of a deep burgundy handbag...

Of course, spicy earth tones are fabulous for fall!(I love this mix of gray and burnt orange together, don’t you?)

Bright colors are so “this season” too. Wear a bright jacket if you heart so desires!

Brights are on-trend...just like jewel tones, earth tones and pastels. Remember, it’s ALL good when it comes to wearing color!

Don’t already own a bright dress, pant or fall jacket?

(You can buy a bright garment for fall, is you’d like)

However, it will be a lot CHEAPER (read: this will save you money) to just add bright accessories to your current wardrobe!

Got a white blouse? Check.Got a denim jacket? Check.

It’s like “instant style”!

This fall season, simply add a colorful accessory to your wardrobe full of neutrals!

2. Bottoms Up! This fall every pant silhouette is a good one. From skinny, to flare, boot-cut to wide-leg and cropped...again, it’s ALL good when it comes to the bottoms you choose to wear this season!

You will also see a wide variety of colors AND prints in the fall pant selections. From bottoms that are pastel to bright in color or deep and earthy...you have your choice. You will see denims with a shiny metallic finishes and faux leather looks.

You also have a choice of wearing PRINTED pants if you like! (Of course, I have to put a “proceed with caution” disclosure notice here!) Printed pants WILL get a lot of attention to your lower body...which is NOT always a good thing. Check in a full-length mirror and then decide if printed pants is right for you--or not.

This is the season of the PANT! (Sorry if you like dresses, but this season it’s all about the pant and HOW you wear it!)

YES! Go bright or wear a deep rich fall-colored bottom this season...

QUICKLY EXPAND YOUR WARDROBE BY ADDING IN ONLY ONE BRIGHT PANT!

You can actually expand your wardrobe by adding-in just one bright pant. All of your neutral pieces now have another thing they can be worn with...your bright pants!

Think of all the new combinations you can now make...

3. Red Hot. Anything red is a stylish thing this fall. From true red to deep burgundy or merlot...red has quickly become the “it” color of the fall season. Reds were on every runway.

Most of the reds you see this fall will be the deep rich burgundy, cranberry or merlot shades...
