Backpacks and Buses

• Students must have a backpack (please no wheels)

• Please place your child’s bus number inside the front pocket of his or her back pack

• Please check your child’s backpack EVERY DAY!

Dismissal• Students will be dismissed at 2:00.

• Any change in your child’s regular dismissal routine MUST be written!

• Early Dismissals will take place at 11:45.

Enrichment

• Rotations Among Kindergarten Teachers– Theme Units– Science– Social Studies– Alphabet Club– Kindergarten Play

Expectations (students)

•Students should be able to… – separate from home– print their first name and last initial– attend to dressing needs– keep their hands to themselves– listen the first time

Expectations (parents)

•Teachers ask that you please…– contact your child’s teacher at any time for

questions, needs, or concerns– check backpacks EVERYDAY– check folders and behavior sheets everyday– return forms promptly– dress your child appropriately

Outside.”
