grow corn, and to find nuts and berries.
Summer• The Pilgrims have a lot of corn, beans, and
pumpkins.
Autumn• The Pilgrims decide to have a feast and to invite
the Indians.• The first Thanksgiving lasts 3 days. They eat, drink,
and dance.
Today• Americans still celebrate Thanksgiving.• They eat a big meal, go to parades, play
football, go shopping, and spend time with their families.
