Faculty of Economics is one of the major departments of TTarasaras S Shevchenkohevchenko N Nationalational U Universityniversity ofof K Kyiv.yiv.

It was founded in 1944 from subdepartments of political

economy and statistics founded back in 1842 in St. Volodymyr University.

Faculty of Economics prepared more than 5 thousands highly qualified economists, nearby 600 PhDs and above 80 DScs.

Young Scientist’s Association of FE is student’s self governing organization, committed to:

contributing to students’ scientific activities;

popularising of science among youth;

organizing and conducting different students’ scientific events.

contributing to student’s scientific and creative potentials;

Major tasks: attraction of students and post-graduated

students to scientific-research work;

help for students in assimilation and in-depth study of disciplines;

organization, realization and information sharing among students about different kinds of scientific events, such as conferences, academic competitions, discussion groups, schedule of scientific sections;

searching of talents, initiatives, creation of challenging concepts and their direct implementation;

with the participation of whizzbang academic figures, famous economists and representatives of leading companies;
