DESCRIPTION

Stachnowicz W. & Nagengast B. (2014). Zbiorowiska szuwarowe (Phragmitetea australis) w rezerwacie "Wielki Bytyń" na Pojezierzu Wałeckim. Bad. Fizjogr., Ser. B, R.V (B63): 85-99. DOI 10.14746/bfb.2014.5.5 Abstract: The article is aimed at supplementing formerly published documentation on vegetation of a relatively large nature reserve (ca. 1943 ha) called Wielki Bytyń – the Natura 2000 site (PLH320011). It contains 46 phytosociological relevés made in 2003–2004 in reeds, sedges’ and other water margin’s communities of the Phragmitetea australis class. The text contains also a brief discussion on problems of nature protection, particularly the local causes of fragmentation and destruction of the investigated ecotonal zones, and their importance for the conservation of a large, mesotrophic water reservoir, i.e. Lake Bytyń Wielki.
