Summary: The purpose of this power point is to help students learn to

identify five major United States rivers.

Learning Objective: Given informative slides as well as a video clip, the

students will be able to identify five major United States rivers with 100%

accuracy.

Content Standard: Standard 7 – The Earth Major geologic events that

occur over eons or brief moments in time continually shape and reshape the

surface of the Earth, resulting in continuous global change.

Accomplishment: Use information and illustrations to identify five of the

United States major rivers.

• The students will have revisited their knowledge of the water cycle and its connection to our rivers.
