Welcome to a walk in Sweden!

By foot or riding….

There are beutiful manors

You can see hills with junipers

There are many lakes in Sweden

There are roads with oaks….

Meads with cows

In the spring grow coltsfoots…

wonderful wood anemones….

beautiful blue anemones….

And the botanists pride – the orchid the ladys slipper!

But you can pick mushrooms too - morels in the springtime

And chanterelles in the summer and autumn

Yxtaholm is a mansion very close to where we live This is the old stable

There is a lovely park with oaks and other broad-leaf trees

This is the stonebridge to Åkerö

Oh, the beaver has paid us a visit It was exterminated but is back

Wiks castle, the best preserved medieval castle in Sweden

Nowadays a school (I studied there)

A red little house in the woods is what many Swedes dream of…

Or a summer cottage maybe….

Are there seals in Sweden? Yes, but this is uncle Gary floating in the lake Yngaren

At the lake Hornborgasjön gather thousands of cranes in the spring

Crayfish party is a Swedish autumn tradition

Belfries are very common at the Swedish churches

And now, the West coast!
